Three Months with Baby L

I swear time is flying by faster and faster with each month that goes by! This month’s princess theme is Sleeping Beauty where we dressed up as Aurora, Prince Phillip, and Maleficent. You can definitely call L Sleeping Beauty because she is almost always snoozing in all of our photos together!

These are some of the updates and lessons we learned from this past month:

Sleep Training
Sleep training has been going well! Our pediatrician recommended we stretch L’s nighttime feedings from 4 hours to 6 hours, saying L is more than capable of handling the jump which was something we loved.

Running Errands
We’ve realized how much we took the ease of running errands for granted. Quick pick ups and drop offs are a little more inconvenient since we can’t leave L in the car. We’ve adjusted our mindsets that it’s just going to take a smidge longer than usual to get our to do lists done.

Drive Thrus
Piggybacking off of the last one, drive thrus have become our best friend! I’m willing to drive a little bit further somewhere if it means I don’t have to get out of the car for food or my daily sweet treats.

My Hair is Falling Out and My Nails Keep Breaking
My hair is shedding quite a bit and my nails are brittle despite continuing to take prenatal vitamins to this day. I’m hoping this phase will pass soon!

Baby’s First Flight
We took L on her first flight and so many friends recommended that this was the best time to fly with a baby! We waited two weeks after L’s first round of vaccines kicked in which gave us peace of mind to travel this early with her.

Frequently Asked Question
The question we get asked the most when we’re out is how old L is, so I’ve started keeping track on a weekly basis so I don’t lose count!
