Ben Platt: Live at the Ahmanson

Center Theatre Group invited me to opening night of Ben Platt: Live at the Ahmanson and after a stressful week, there was something so calming about being back at the theatre.

For ten performances only, Ben Platt and a star-studded set of special guests join forces at the Ahmanson Theatre (135 N Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90012) to perform a dazzling new concert of some of his greatest hits, as well as a set of timeless Broadway favorites.

This was my first time seeing Ben Platt live, and he is an incredible performer and truly makes singing look so easy. He was such a joy to watch on stage, and as if that wasn’t enough, he brought out Josh Groban as his special guest last night and they sang a beautiful duet of “What I Did For Love” from A Chorus Line. You are not going to want to miss this limited engagement residency at the Ahmanson this holiday season!

Ticket prices start at $44.85 and the show is playing now through 12/21. The performance length is 1 hour and 40 minutes with no intermission, and the show is recommended for ages 6 and up. Self-parking is available in the Music Center Garage for $10 at the Grand Ave entrance. I recommend getting to the theatre at least half an hour before show time!

Huge thank you to Center Theatre Group for having me!
