Disney’s Zootopia 2 World Premiere
We’re wild and we can’t be tamed… and we’re turning the floor into a ZOO! OOH! OOH!
Get you a friend like Thaddeus who knows how much I love Zootopia, that as soon as he got the invite to the premiere he submitted me as his +1 before checking with me if I was even available!
It was lovely running into the stars of the movie again after seeing them a couple of weeks ago.
I felt so fancy being able to get my photo taken on the red carpet by Getty Images!
Pinch me, I still can’t believe we got to be at the world premiere!
After we finished taking photos along the carpet, we headed to the pre-party! They had some photo ops that looked like scenes you see in the movie.
It was also a treat getting to be one of the first guests who got to meet Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde in their new outfits, as well as Officer Clawhauser who is making his Disney Parks debut soon!
We got to say hi to Dylan Efron and Elaine Hendrix who are both still competing on Dancing With the Stars - I know there can only be one winner, but we’re rooting for everyone!
I totally geeked out getting to meet Whyley Yoshimura and Jan Ravnik who both danced with Taylor Swift for The Eras Tour! They couldn’t have been any nicer.
Always great running into Alkaio Thiele from Wizards Beyond Waverly Place!
We even got to meet some of the Zootopia 2 cast, including Patrick Wharburton (who plays Brian Winddancer), Amanda Gorman (who plays Deerdra Bambino), and Maurice LaMarche (who plays Mr. Big). We also saw Robert Irwin (who plays Robert Furwin) from afar!
And after years of following each other on Instagram, I finally got to meet my friend Jasmine in real life for the first time! I’m so proud of her and her team who worked on the film!
Then, it was time to head into the theatre! I loved that they really leaned into the theme and transformed the theatre into the El HOPitan. Zootopia 2 was heartwarming, funny, and punny and you know I’m such a sucker for a good pun! It exceeded my expectations and more, and the story is both timely and timeless. It was so fun looking out for a bunch of Easter eggs throughout the movie!
After the screening, we met Fortune Feimster (who plays my new favorite character, Nibbles Maplestick) and Wilmer Valderrama (who plays Higgins) in the lobby.
I’m already making plans to see the movie again and I can’t wait! Be sure to catch Zootopia 2 in theaters starting 11/26!
Huge thank you to Walt Disney Animation Studios for having us, and to Thaddeus for inviting me to be his guest!
xo,
Keshia
